Annual Raft Trip – July 28, 2026

When: July 28, 2026 – 11:00am-5:30pm | Ages: 9-17YO | Where: Payette River
We’re excited to announce that our Annual Raft Trips are coming this summer! While dates and times are still being finalized, stay tuned for updates and get ready for an unforgettable experience on the Payette River!
Event Highlights:
11:00am-12:00am drop off and lunch at Boise Police Station
12:00am-1:00pm travel to Cascade Raft
1:30pm – River time! ~ 3 hours on the water
4:30pm-5:30pm travel back to Boise Police station for parent pickup
Recommended Equipment: We recommend participants bring towels, sunscreen and a pair of water shoes.
A Fun, Safe Adventure: Youth will enjoy a day of rafting, paddling, and exploring the natural beauty of Idaho’s rivers, guided by Boise police officers and experienced rafting experts.
Positive Community Engagement: The event aims to foster trust and friendship between local kids and law enforcement in a relaxed, fun environment. It’s a unique opportunity for young participants to bond with police officers outside of their usual roles.
Free of Charge: Thanks to the generous support of Cascade Kayak & Raft, this amazing adventure is completely free for all participants! We believe that every child should have the chance to experience the thrill of rafting.
Please note: Due to the popularity of this event and our desire to give as many youth as possible the opportunity to participate, each youth participant may only register for one of the three rafting trips. Please do not register the same youth for more than one event. If you have any questions, please contact programcoordinator@boisepal.org.
